How Our Children Develop Age-Appropriate Skills

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Educational Philosophy, and borrowing what it says about the child, we support our children’s developing with the premise that: “The Child is Competent”  (Loris Malaguzzi)

Every child brings with them deep curiosity and potential, and we believe in it.  We believe that those of us (adults) who are with children have the responsibility to create environments where the child is seen as the protagonist.

With these principles in mind, we promote the development of age appropriate skills through the implementation of high quality early childhood practices. Pedagogical documentation as the main source to  create emergent curriculum is what ultimately leads to the experiences  that will allow our children to develop age-appropriate skills and, to  reach age-appropriate milestones.

Being an active participant in the classroom projects, and having the support and guidance of the teachers make this journey an interesting and joyful early childhood experience!
